This year’s Co-Chairs for Lend a Hand, Touch a Heart Mitzvah Month 2011 were Suzanne Ecker and Larry Pliskin. Both were very pleased with the turnout and ecstatic with the mitzvah’s that were accomplished.
“This year the enthusiasm and energy surrounding Mitzvah Month was incredible,” stated Mitzvah Month Co-Chair Suzanne Ecker. “At each of the volunteer activities there were community members that were excited about making a difference by lending a hand.”
“Mitzvah Month is a terrific opportunity to springboard into volunteering on an on-going basis,” stated Mitzvah Month Co-Chair Larry Pliskin. “The energy our community showed was amazing, and something we should try to continue throughout the year.”
Lend a Hand, Touch a Heart Mitzvah Month 2011 plans to build from these practiced traditions of central Ohio community organizations and synagogues partnering together to provide mitzvot, good deeds, to the entire community.
